Jillian is a Florida native, originally from Boynton Beach, where she grew her passion for weather. Summer showers and tropical weather are nothing new to her, as she has gone through a good number of hurricanes herself in South Florida.
With the hurricanes she has experienced, she has seen the impacts firsthand and has made keeping the community safe and informed her top priority.
Growing up surrounded by the news and weather, Jillian knew since middle school that she wanted to become a meteorologist. From there, she soon dove into the topic, learning anything and everything, which eventually set her up for college.
Jillian graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication & Broadcast Meteorology. She was able to fit a lot in her four years of college, including producing and directing a short documentary on the Concorde, serving as the Chief Meteorologist for her university's news, acting as the Chair of Communication & Secretary for the College of Arts & Sciences Student Council, and much more.
In her spare time, Jillian enjoys hockey (Go Panthers!), spending time with her family, and finding new places to fill her sweet tooth!
Jillian is looking forward to continuing to grow her passion in the Big Bend!
