TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — One person has been critically injured after a shooting on Mission Road Thursday night.
The Tallahassee Police Department is investigating a shooting near the 2900 block of Mission Road.
At approximately 8 p.m., officers were notified of the shooting incident and responded to the area. Upon arrival, officers and emergency personnel discovered that one victim was suffering from a gunshot wound.
That victim was later transported to a local hospital and is in critical but stable condition.
This is at least the 12th reported shooting in Tallahassee.

- The first shooting happened New Year's Day in a plaza on West Pensacola Street. Five people were injured. No arrests have been made in this case.
- The second shooting happened Jan. 3 on Sapphire Drive when Andrew Lawyer II shot his son during a domestic dispute.
- The third shooting happened Jan. 6on Jackson Bluff Road. One person was killed in the shooting. Darius Phillips was arrested for the fatal shooting.
- The fourth shooting happened Jan. 13 on Joe Louis Street. One person was killed in the shooting. Preston Hart was arrested for the fatal shooting.
- The fifth shooting happened Feb. 10 at Cafe Shisha on West Tennessee Street. One person was killed in the shooting. Darrel Wyche, Jr. was arrested in connection to the fatal shooting.
- The sixth shooting happened Feb. 22 on Blountstown Highway. Christopher Brown was arrested in connection to the domestic shooting.
- The seventh shooting happened Feb. 23 on Canton Circle. One person was injured in the shooting. No arrests have been made in this case.
- The eighth shooting happened Feb. 25 on Old Bainbridge Road. One person was killed in the shooting. Jordan K. Smith and Xavier Coachman were arrested in connection to the fatal shooting.
- The ninth shooting happened Feb. 25 on West Pensacola Street. One person was injured in the shooting. No arrests have been made in this case.
- The tenth shooting happened Feb. 26 on Silver Slipper Lane. No one was injured in the incident. Andrew Saylor was arrested for the shooting.
- The eleventh shooting happened March 1 on Wallis Street. One person was injured in the shooting. No arrests have been made in this case.
- The twelfth shooting happened March 7 on Mission Road. One person was injured. No arrests have been made in this case.
