Lentheus Chaney serves as the neighborhood reporter for Monticello, joining WTXL in November 2024.
He's a multimedia journalist with a passion for storytelling that informs, entertains, and inspires. He began his career by self-teaching the art of writing, editing, and publishing a magazine from his dining room table. He recently earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism and media communication from Colorado State University.
Chaney has served as an editor for various magazines and contributed as a freelance reporter to a prominent African American community newspaper in Georgia.
Beyond his journalistic endeavors, Chaney has a strong interest in wellness, real estate, and entrepreneurship. He is based in Tallahassee, Florida, and maintains a presence in Monticello, Florida.
