TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A disturbance in the far southwestern Caribbean developed enough Monday to be declared a tropical depression, less than 50 miles offshore from the coast of Nicaragua. The system will move onshore Monday night and further development from it will cease afterwards.
Hurricane Tammy remains in the Atlantic, but no other systems or disturbances are being highlighted for future development over the next several days.
