Tropical Storm Karl is present in the southwestern Gulf.

A few zones of moisture are scattered and stretched along various parts of the Atlantic basin this midweek, but fast upper-level winds and stronger shear in sections of the tropical waters will make development of new or existing system difficult to achieve for the rest of this week.
