GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — In Gadsden County, Four Star Freightliner says they want to do their part to help keep truckers safe.

Employees now start off every service with a disinfection treatment.

They take about 20 minutes to disinfect all trucks that come through the shop to get fixed.

Then, technicians do the repairs and someone comes in to spray them down a second time to make sure there's no contamination.

The company says they want to be there for their customers and make sure nobody gets sick.

"Just to do all we can to try to keep control of our environment and keep our customers safe, our employees safe and do our part to try to contain this," said Michael Todd, service manager at Four Star Freightliner.

The sanitizing spray is free of charge.
