Native American Pow Wow hits South Georgia

TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL)-- From October 21st to the 23rd, a festival for the Native American Culture will be in full effect. 

The event is called the  Tama Intertribal Pow Wow and its located at 107 Tall Pine Drive in Whigham, GA. The Lower Muskogee Creek Tribe will be hosting the event and feature native crafts, dancing, storytelling, food and more. The event is to duplicate the Creek Living Village circa in the 1800's.

Gates will be open to the public on Friday, October 21st at 5 pm. Saturday it all begins at 9 am and on Sunday at noon. Gate admission is $3.00 a vehicle and pets must be on a leash at all times.
