Areas of moisture in the open waters of the Atlantic are not expected to develop for the next several days. Unfavorable atmospheric conditions around the tropical Atlantic basin — including strong upper winds in the Caribbean and a strong upper trough pattern affecting the Gulf of Mexico — will prevent any disturbances and cyclones from becoming problematic.
