No tropical disturbances are present or expected in the Gulf of Mexico or the western Caribbean through the beginning of the holiday weekend.

A stretch of disorganized moisture near the Windward Islands extends north into the open southwestern Atlantic. The northern edge of this wave has a bit of development potential, but some dry air and faster upper winds nearby will limit development efforts.
