TALLAHASSEE, FL. — As of 5 A.M. this morning, Lorenzo has developed into a tropical storm, with sustained winds of 45 miles per hour.
Only minimal strengthening is expected as the system gradually turns back toward the west coast of Africa.
Lorenzo poses no threat to the United States.
