The Atlantic Basin is quiet today. No tropical development is expected in the next 48 hours. An area of tropical moisture lingers over the island of Hispaniola. It will cause isolated shower formation, but drier air to the north of it has limited thunderstorm development. The rest of the Caribbean and gulf are not expected to have any tropical development for the next two days.
