MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- A vigorous tropical wave is emerging off the west coast of Africa. The National Hurricane Center (NHC) has already issued outlooks on this system.
The latest outlook as of 2:00am ET gives this system a 50% chance of tropical depression development within the next five days. Unlike the previous waves that have come before, this system already shows more potential to last as it begins it's long track west through the open Atlantic. At this point in time, it is NO threat to any U.S. land mass.
