This disturbance is now about 650 miles west southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands. At this time, there are showers and thunderstorms associated with this weak area of low pressure, but it is very disorganized. Environmental conditions are conducive for gradual development later this week as it continues to move west at 10 mph. This disturbance has a 60% chance of formation in the next five days.
