Sunday evening tropics check (11/17/2013)

There is a non tropical low currently over the central Atlantic ocean about 750 miles NE of the Leeward islands. Over the past 24 hours shower activity has increased and it appears that the environment around the system is favorable for further intensification. The system is moving to the N/NW and has been given a 40% chance of development over the next 48 hours, and a 70% chance over the next 5 days. This system will not be a threat to the local area.
