MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- The main area of the Tropics that is being closely monitored is the disturbance over the eastern Yucatán Peninsula. It is gaining better organization and as it moves into the warm Gulf of Mexico, more development is expected. It has around a 60% chance of turning into a tropical depression within the next 5 days. Elsewhere, two tropical waves are over the eastern Atlantic but are not expected to develop anytime soon.
