TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - This forecast is staying on cruise control, folks! What we've experienced since Monday will persist through tomorrow with summery afternoon storms boiling up after temps soar into the mid 90s for highs. This is all courtesy of a frontal system to the north and west of us that is drifting into the Deep South allowing for the unsettled, summery pattern to persist. By Friday, the front sags into central Florida allowing for the heat to persist, but the dry air to filter in limiting rain chances. Isolated to scattered storms return late in the day Saturday as temps stay hot in the low to mid 90s. This pattern persists into early next week with temps ranging from the upper 80s to low 90s and a few bubble-up PM storms to contend with.
