TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Another chilly start with light frost area-wide. That's because we're on the backside of a dry cold front that passed late yesterday ushering in cooler air. Therefore expect highs to be slightly lower than we saw yesterday only getting into the upper 50s. Another cold night ahead as high pressure continues to build in with the mercury dropping towards the freezing mark. As that high moves off the east coast, winds turn from the Gulf and usher in more warmth so expect temps on Thursday to get into the upper 60s. Milder air beyond that with lows into Friday morning in the upper 40s with one or two brief showers possible, especially for our north and western counties. Highs will be comfortable in the upper 60s again. A dry Saturday beyond that with temps in the mid to upper 60s. Another front moves into the area Sunday bringing a few PM showers and storms. Highs get above 70°. Monday looks a little cooler with numbers in the 60s as that system pushes into the area with on and off showers and storms expected.
