and last updated

A heat advisory has been put in place today for much of our region until 7 p.m. this evening. Some heat indices this afternoon will reach 108 degrees. Please find a way to stay in air conditioned places, hydrated, out of direct sunlight and remember to check on relatives and neighbors. We do have a 30% chance to see a few scattered showers this afternoon, and an isolated thunderstorm. This trend of weather will stay with us through Thursday, with rain chances going down to 20% for Friday and Saturday. By Sunday, we will see partly sunny skies, a few showers, isolated thunderstorms and highs in the mid 90’s. Monday looks much of the same with temps returning to average. Rain chances go up to 40% on Tuesday with a high of 92.

Have a great Wednesday!
