MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The warmth goes on through Thursday, then fall coolness returns just in time for the weekend. The upper high responsible for the hot streak will shift farther to the east, giving way to a strong cold front that will not produce a lot of clouds or rain for late Thursday into early Friday, but once it passes, northerly breezes will increase and overall temperature trends will plunge. Before any of that occurs, we have to get through another warm afternoon Thursday, with forecast highs in the mid and upper 80s following morning lows in the lower 60s. The sky will be generally clear with limited fog overnight, then mostly sunny to partly cloudy by late afternoon. The coolest air of the season thus far is expected early next week, with lows reaching into the mid 40s to low 50s, and highs staying in the 70s both Saturday and Sunday.
