MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
A low-pressure disturbance has created higher rain chances this evening for areas near and east of Interstate 75, while passing, isolated showers and storms have been observed elsewhere, and a few more may form through early-evening. Partial cloudiness will be the common thread for most areas outside of rainy or stormy spots. Overnight lows will drop toward the mid 70s. Widely scattered showers and thunder may still persist early in the morning in southeast Georgia. As the upper low scoots east, rain coverage will dwindle to about 40% through Thursday afternoon with highs in the low 90s. Friday will also be relatively dry before a cold front moves unusually far south for this season, bringing higher rain probabilities into the entire region this weekend.
