MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
A few spots of rain and thunder are possible this evening, generally near the state line and to the north as the night progresses, since most shower areas and moving to the northeast. Leftover clouds will break overnight, as temperatures fall to lows in the low and mid 70s. Thursday, there will be a general break in the excessive rain cycle; though widely scattered showers and storms will still form, a slightly more stable setup will limit the number and strength of the storms. West to southwest winds will support extra warming, so highs are forecast to reach the middle 90s away from the coast. Friday, the first of two cold fronts will approach the south Georgia counties, spreading a few more showers and storms in northern sections of the viewing area. The second front is set to arrive early next week. The previous tropical depression in the Atlantic has weakened into a remnant low, and it will still be tracked in the days ahead.
