MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Just like yesterday, a high pressure system is still situated over us. This high has been drying our air and leaving us with comfortable conditions, especially in the morning. Lows have been cooler than average (70 degrees), while the highs, still near 90 degrees, have felt a little more pleasant. This high is expected to weaken as we close in on Friday evening. Once it does, we'll begin seeing moist air move back into the region bringing with it a few chances for rain.
As we work our way into Thursday morning, we can expect to see clear skies with lows in the upper 60s. In fact, that will be the case Thursday night as well. During the days on Thursday and Friday, sunny skies will stick around with only a few passing clouds. Highs will top off in the mid 90s, but with the drier air, it shouldn't be too unbearable.
By Friday evening, winds will slowly begin shifting to more of a southerly flow. This means we'll see the humidity begin to rise with only a handful of showers Friday night. The rain chances will stay in the forecast for the weekend, though they remain low, only 20 percent. Partly cloudy skies will be seen this weekend as well, which means our highs will only warm to the lower 90s. Lows stay near 70 degrees.
