Storm Team Tuesday morning forecast (11/25/2014)

TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Another wet day on hand, but the stormy days are winding down as we head closer and closer to the holiday. So far, most areas have received 2-4" of rain and we can expect up to another 2" through early Wednesday morning. As the cold front passes, temps tumble throughout the day. So we started out in the low 60s to start the morning off and temps will fall into the low to mid 50s by the afternoon before bottoming out in the low to mid 40s overnight into Wednesday morning. This storm system crawls up the east coast and will transition into a pretty nasty Nor'easter for the New England area. So if you're travelling that way on Wednesday, you could experience some back ups at the airports. Our area will be clearing out by late Wednesday morning with no weather delays likely. Temps will be cool though, only getting into the upper 50s for highs under mostly sunny skies. On Thanksgiving morning, we'll see plenty of sunshine with lows in the mid to upper 30s. By the afternoon, it'll be pleasantly cool in the low 60s. High pressure builds into the region which will allow for cool nights and warm afternoons. Expect lows to bottom out near freezing for Black Friday morning with highs back in the low 60s by the time you're wrapping up all your shopping activity. Temps plummet into Saturday morning around the freezing mark once again, though it'll be comfortable for the big rival game at Doak Campbell with temps getting into the upper 60s by kick off. Even better news, we'll be dry all day as well so tailgating should be pleasant as well. 70s in store for Sunday and for the beginning of December as well.
