A wintry mix of freezing rain and sleet, with small intervals of snow could be possible for a brief amount of time in Southern Georgia.  The National Weather Service is saying ice accumulations in some regions in South Georgia will range from one tenth of an inch to around one quarter of an inch.  If this wintry mix does occur it will be in the late evening tonight and in the early morning hours on Wednesday, and end quickly. Gulf counties will see mainly rain even late tonight. It won’t be until 3-4 am tomorrow morning were there is a slight chance for freezing rain which will end quickly as well.  During the day on Wednesday, rain will move out and clouds following shortly after allowing temperatures to fall to the lower 20’s by Thursday morning.  Partly sunny skies will return on Thursday with a high of 54.  Friday looks mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 60’s.
