MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Clouds will continue to filter in from the west as a frontal system approaches from Texas and Louisiana. Highs today are still forecast to reach near 80 degrees. Lows tonight are forecast to drop near 60 degrees.

A developing center of low pressure will continue to enhance rain ahead of the front, and some showers on the north end of this low pressure may impact us Wednesday. The south side of the low pressure system will bring more stormy action with it, and that will likely avoid the region altogether. Rain coverage is low to isolated with this front (30%) with areas away from the Gulf coast likely staying dry. Highs tomorrow are forecast to reach the mid 70s with abundant cloud cover.

Thursday and beyond, skies should be clearer and temps should be cooler with highs in the upper 70s and lows in the mid 40s to lower 50s.
