MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Low pressure arriving into the region from the central Gulf will cause additional showers and late-night thunderstorms to form. With the close approach of the low, and a nearby upper-level disturbance over the central Deep South, we'll have enough atmospheric forces in place to enhance individual showers into potentially stronger thunderstorms. The overall severe weather risk is low, and may be hindered by the existing cloud cover, but a couple storms have a chance to build into systems that producer gusty damaging winds and an isolated tornado. Periods of heavy rain are possible. Through Wednesday, the systems will slowly pull away from the area, allowing slow and limited clearing by late afternoon with a few passing showers possible until then. Lows tonight will be in the 60s to near 70°, and highs tomorrow mainly in the 70s to near 80° if enough sun breaks out. Thursday and beyond will feature sunnier days and seasonably mild afternoons. Lows will fall below average into the weekend.
