MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Scorching heat has back off just a bit today, but feels-like temperatures have still easily exceeded 100°. Isolated to widely-scattered showers and storms are going to be confined mainly to the seabreeze boundary and eastern Big Bend counties, with a few brief occasions of downpours and wind gusts. Partly clear conditions are forecast overnight as moisture and heat linger, keeping lows only in the mid 70s. An upper disturbance will drift into the Deep South through midweek, which will aid in developing a few more showers and thunderstorms, particularly in the afternoon. Some western counties may be the primary focus of coverage, which may stretch into later in the night. Highs will range from near 90° west to the mid 90s in the Suwannee Valley. We'll transition to more general unsettledness by week's end with a stronger low approaching from the north; breaks of sun will still produce uncomfortably hot afternoons.
