and last updated

The wintry weather finally came to an end for our area during the overnight hours. Any rain left from the system could be found around I-75 this morning, as it continues to move east. Clouds are still lingering around much of the area and will continue to do so until the afternoon hours. Highs today are expected to get into the upper 40’s, and we may even see just a few places hit 50.  By Friday, we will see mostly sunny skies and temps will return to average. The real warm up will be felt over the weekend. Saturday’s highs will be around 73, with partly sunny skies.  Another front will move close to the region on Sunday bringing mostly cloudy skies, showers, a few thunderstorms and a high of 75. Monday looks partly sunny, with a 30% chance of showers and highs in the low 70’s. Tuesday seems like it will be much like Monday. Another round of showers will be here on Wednesday, producing an increase in cloud coverage, showers, t-storms and highs in the lower 70’s.

Have a great Thursday!
