TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - The active weather pattern continues with more passing storms likely today. Expect rain coverage to be scattered in nature this morning, mainly impacting areas south of I-10, but by lunchtime and beyond storms will begin to overspread the rest of the region. Temps are going to be more in check today because of the rainfall potential increasing, so highs will stay below 90° for the first time since June 6th. Scattered storms are likely tomorrow and Saturday, but not as plentiful, and with more peeks of sunshine, temps creep back to the low 90s. Sunday looks even hotter in the mid 90s with a few pop-up afternoon and evening storms possible as well. Isolated storms are possible for the 4th of July, but everything will likely quiet down by sunset just in time for the fireworks. Temps in the mid afternoon will still be hot in the mid 90s with feels-like temps approaching 100°, so play it safe and stay hydrated. A few sea breeze storms are possible for next midweek as well with temps above average in the mid to upper 90s.
