TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Enjoy your last warm day around the region for a while, a cold front is advancing into the Deep South which will bring changes to our weather pattern. Temps today will be similar to Wednesday beginning in the 50s with some isolated patchy fog spots. By the afternoon, expect more clouds to build in with temps still becoming warm into the low 80s. The difference today from earlier in the work week is we can expect some showers to make their way into the region by the time the kids are coming home from school in the Tri-state region. Tallahassee can expect that rainfall by dinnertime and then after sunset, the rain chances approach the I-75 corridor. Overnight, the front passes and winds will whip up on the back end of the system up to 30mph. Expect elevated winds for your Friday morning commute as well with temps significantly cooler back into the mid 40s. Temps stay in the mid 60s during the afternoon as the winds slack off making for a cool FSU Block Party. Conditions remain cool heading into the weekend with Saturday morning lows down into the upper 30s. A few late day showers are possible especially the farther south and east you go, so college football games should remain dry in the afternoon. However, everyone will stay cool only getting into the upper 60s during the afternoon. By Sunday, conditions warm slightly back into the mid 40s for lows and nearing 70° in the afternoon. We moderate heading towards Veterans Day with highs rebounding back into the mid and upper 70s.
