MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Skies are clearing as high pressure sets in to the southeast and pulls in cooler and drier winds from the north. As the sun rises, temperatures will be a tad bit chilly with numbers in the 50s. Highs today will struggle to rise, with numbers in the lower 60s, even with all of the clear skies across the region.
Heading into Friday morning, the cool and dry influence of the high pressure system will help drop our temperatures significantly, with us waking up to the upper 30s to lower 40s. Clear skies with an eastward shift in winds will allow us to see number in the mid to upper 60s for highs then.
Saturday into Sunday, an approaching frontal system will help to bring more warmth and moisture in the region with highs in the 70s and cloudy skies. Sunday into Tuesday, the rain chance jumps again, with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms possible.
