Storm Team Thursday morning forecast (02/04/2016)

TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Widespread showers slowly but surely ending throughout the day from west to east. By lunchtime, we'll quiet down in the western Big Bend & southwest Georgia. The rainfall will completely push past I-75 later this evening. Rain totals have been quite impressive, anywhere from 1-3" with highest amounts in south central Georgia topping 5". Because the cold front is passing through the region, temps stay capped in the 50s today. We'll dip to the mid 30s overnight and it'll be a bit blustery with gusts up to 20 mph overnight. Plenty of sunshine to end the work week, but with that cool set up in place, highs only top off in the upper 50s. We'll approach freezing conditions by Saturday morning and near 60° in the afternoon. An isolated shower is possible late on Saturday and early Sunday, but don't cancel those outdoor plans, because the rain threat is quite minimal. Isolated shower chances stick with us through Tuesday with temps ranging from the 30s in the morning and upper 50s / low 60s in the afternoon.
