MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- A stalled upper level low pressure system and a stationary front keeps the rain coverage prominent throughout North Florida and South Georgia. The rain coverage is at around 70%, meaning it is highly likely that most of the area will continue to add to the rain gauges. Temperatures today will likely rise into the low 70s, limited by the cloud cover and rainfall. Lows into Friday morning will fall into the low to mid 60s across the region with coastal temperatures in a tad bit warmer. By Friday, the upper level low moves east, dragging the rain coverage with it (40% Friday) with clearing in time for the end of the weekend.

WTXL Chief Meteorologist Casanova Nurse will keep you up to date on the rain threat tonight at 5PM.
