Today looks to be a scorcher across the Tallahassee region as temperatures reach the mid 90's during the afternoon hours. Make sure to hydrate well if you plan on being outside for an extended period of time as heat indices will be near 100 across some locations. Rain chances though look dismal, only 20% today. Eventually as we move into tomorrow and the weekend rain chances will spike to the 40-60 percent range as more moisture associated with a low pressure system currently to the south of us pushes into the area. With more cloud cover and more precipitation one can expect temperatures to be slightly cooler, in the low 90's across your Labor Day weekend.
