TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Seasonably cool once again this morning with temps in the low to mid 40s. Afternoon highs will be comfortable back in the mid 70s with high pressure overhead allowing for a sun-filled day. That clearing high pressure system slowly progresses eastward and with a clockwise flow, winds will be onshore starting late today and heading into the end of the work week. This will bump up humidity and warmth allowing overnight temps to stay near 50° overnight and high temps will climb as well. Expect temps in the upper 70s flirting with record highs through the weekend. Expect low 80s for Saturday and Sunday alike with a sun-cloud mix. Showers and storms should hold off for the most part til Monday as a front advances along the Gulf shore. Temps will still be slightly above average in the low 70s before another clearing high pressure area moves in allowing for seasonably cool temps in the morning hours down in the mid 40s. Plenty of afternoon sunlight will boost highs back into the mid 70s through next midweek.
