MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- A cold front is approaching from the west today, and well ahead of the front is a prominent shield of upper level cloud cover. That will stick with the region throughout the morning and early afternoon. The moisture ahead of the front, combined with opportunity for the heat to gather, will allow for a slim possibility of seeing a shower or two (< 20% coverage). Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach near the mid 80s for highs.
Friday into Sunday, another dry air mass rolls on in with clear skies and our morning may be slightly cooler with lows back in the mid to upper 50s and highs are forecast to jump sharply to the upper 80s.
Halloween is going to be warm, with forecast highs near 90°. Trick-or-Treat temperatures will be in the 70s.
