TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - An unsettled pattern sticks with us for the next few days before we increase tropical moisture in the region allowing for rain chances to spike next week. Scattered showers are possible today, though it'll be a very similar set up to the past several days in which the showers will be brief and passing. Other than that, we'll hold onto the mix of sun and clouds with temps in the morning in the low to mid 70s with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 80s. A stalled out frontal system over the region will allow for this persistent pattern through Saturday before a tropical wave over the Gulf advances northward throwing higher rain chances our way. Currently, this wave has a very low chance of forming into a tropical system, but either way, it'll be a big rain maker for us. A couple inches of rain are possible for our southern communities for the early start of next week as the storm threat turns widespread. Temps back off courtesy of thickening clouds into the low to mid 80s for highs. This wet pattern sticks with us through next midweek.
