TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Another crisp, beautiful morning with temps even a little on the chilly side dipping to the mid 60s area wide, with slightly warmer conditions being monitored in the Suwannee Valley courtesy of more cloud cover moderating temps. That's the area we'll monitor for the potential of one or two isolated storms this afternoon, but overall the trend remains quiet and dry today. It'll still be toasty this afternoon with highs getting into the mid 90s underneath mostly sunny skies. All that sunshine with the high angle this time of year will really boost those temps, but it'll be a bearable heat with very low humidity. Changes start tomorrow as the stalled out front to the southeast of the area lifts back north allowing for a few more storms to bubble up, turning more scattered in nature. Temps will still be comfortable in the morning, dipping to the upper 60s. Low 90s still can be expected by the afternoon with a few more storms around. This trend maintains itself through the weekend with scattered afternoon storms and moderating overnight temps getting back into the low 70s. By next week, we expect Erika to scoot up the east coast allowing winds to go counter-clockwise around that system, coming out of the northwest. That'll usher in cooler and drier air allowing temps to stay in the low 90s and rain chances to go back down.
