TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - We're still in a hot and relatively dry pattern today with a sprawling area high pressure overhead limiting most of the rain threat. A stationary boundary south of the region may allow for a sparse storm for the Suwannee Valley this afternoon, but the majority of the area stays dry. Temps will start off in the low 70s and upper 60s this morning and quickly heat up under mostly sunny skies to the mid 90s once again today. High pressure will advance off the East Coast and as winds turn clockwise around that system, we enter into a summery, sea breeze set up with a few scattered storms in the afternoon and evening hours. Temps will range anywhere from the low to mid 70s in the moprning to low and mid 90s in the afternoon through next midweek. That's still a few degrees above average for this time of year.
