Storm Team Thursday evening forecast (05/26/2016)

MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

There still aren't too many rapidly changing factors to consider in the local weather pattern through the beginning of the weekend.  The Atlantic low-pressure disturbance is still forecast to induce a drier northeast or north flow for the region, which will further limit shower and storm production in the afternoons.  Daytime temperatures will also be impacted, with warmer highs in the low to mid 90s.  Only isolated instances of showers or a storm will be encountered through the start of the holiday weekend, especially since the possible tropical low is expected to remain a fairly decent distance from the area.  The remnants of the system by early next week may be positioned over parts of the Southeast and can become the driving force behind widely scattered rain and storm action at times next week, with temperatures remaining near or above average.
