MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
We are managing to hang on to mostly clear sky conditions, but it's difficult to deflect nearby patches of clouds, especially in locations near the Apalachicola River. These clouds, plus a little more moisture overall, will alter the temperature pattern tonight by holding lows to the upper 40s to around 50° in most cases. If the sky remains clearer in your area, slightly lower temps are possible. In general, extra support for a warming trend into the weekend remains evident, with a temporary bubble of upper high pressure allowing considerable sunshine over the region with scattered clouds. Highs Friday will approach 80°, then cross that mark over the weekend. Late Sunday, a diminishing boundary of rain and storms will pass through, likely with further weakening and minimal storm potential into early Monday. Temperatures will be slightly lower early next week, but remain above average.
