TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - We saw a calm Thursday today, but the clouds have begun to build into the region. Overnight, we will see rather uniform temperatures in the upper 50s while the clouds from our next storm system will begin to push in from the west. Tomorrow won't be as calm, however, as we expect to see a washout for your Friday. Highs will struggle to reach the upper 60s in the afternoon. Heavy rains will persist throughout the day, which is why a flood watch is in effect for our region through Friday night. We're looking at about 2-5" across the region, with the highest rainfall totals to our counties to the north and west of Tallahassee. The system will push out on Saturday, with some lingering showers in the AM. Clearing in the afternoon is expected. Once this system passes, we're looking at a pretty nice and seasonable easter with partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies. Temps quickly rebounding into the upper 70s to low 80s by early next week. - Storm Team Intern Zach Covey
