TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- It has been an unsettled/gloomy weekend around the area with passing downpours thanks to a strong trough of low pressure in the eastern portion of the country. The wet regime is not in a hurry to exit along with the sub-90° highs. Thus, rain chances remain elevated for the next couple days, namely Monday. On Tuesday and Wednesday, we begin to transition into a slightly drier pattern with highs back into the 90's. Starting Thursday, indications point to a more typical summery weather pattern. That means plenty of heat and the standard sea-breeze style showers and thunderstorms each afternoon.
