MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- The clear and cooler pattern is forecast to continue into Sunday night with what is likely our first taste of 50s since back in Early May. The cold front responsible for ushering in this cooler and drier air will continue to push toward southern Florida. The high pressure system that will be drawing in winds from the northeast Sunday night, will push eastward Monday and guide winds in from the east.
Overnight lows Sunday night will range in the mid to upper 50s inland, with lower 60s for the Big Bend coast. Monday afternoon highs will likely bounce back to just below average with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Winds out of the east later in the afternoon may help to usher in some clouds for eastern zones and widely isolated showers (<20%) are possible for the eastern half of the region.
Tuesday onward will feature an average trend with mostly cloudy conditions to start as an area of disturbed weather moves in from the Gulf, which can help influence rain coverage (40% Tues-Wed). Highs will likely range in the mid to upper 80s but depending on the cloud cover for Tuesday and Wednesday, those temperatures may not be as warm.
