TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Sunday started off a bit on the rainy side for some, but the majority of us just saw a cloudier sky. Only a few of these clouds my linger into this evening. On a larger scale, a high pressure just to our east will continue to build and strengthen a little more over the next day or so. This means that south Georgia and the Big Bend should return to a normal summertime weather pattern...low 90s and afternoon rain from the sea breeze.

Tonight, a few passing clouds will remain on hand with overnight lows falling to the lower and mid 70s. Winds will be light from the south as well.

Monday will be a partly cloudy day, but with the rain expected to hold off until the afternoon, daytime highs should reach the lower 90s. By the afternoon hours, expect a few scattered showers and thunderstorms on hand from the sea breeze. Other than that, winds will remain from the south through the day. By Monday night, we'll try to clear out some of the clouds with lows falling to about 74 degrees.
