MIDWAY, FL. (WTXL) -- Sunday was a beautiful end to the weekend. Temperatures warmed to about 85 degrees Sunday, and will continue to stay warmer than average for much of the work week.
Tonight, we'll see partly cloudy to mostly clear conditions through the area with light winds. Overnight lows drop to the mid 60s for much of the area.
A high pressure system centered to our northeast is responsible for the mostly sunny skies and the continued light easterly winds over the next few days. Monday kicks off the work week with highs warming to the mid and upper 80s. Monday night lows fall to about 65 degrees under mostly clear skies. This will be the weather pattern for much of the week.
Models have hinted at a cold front passing us as we near Friday evening. This means that next weekend will feel more like fall.
