MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- A stagnant and clear pattern will continue for the weekend with mainly sunny skies and temperatures steadily warming as we advance through the week. High pressure is centered just near us over the southeastern U.S. and it will slowly push into the Atlantic. As it does so, skies will still be clear, due to the high still being close by but it will be warmer as winds shift from the north to more of an easterly direction. Overnight lows for Saturday into Sunday morning will be in the lower 50s again, with Sunday afternoon highs jumping into the mid 80s with a slight easterly wind working its way into the picture. That wind will tap into the Atlantic and as it does so, very slowly the air mass will increase in humidity, allowing for a very slim (<20 %) coverage of rain for Monday through Wednesday. No notable rain coverage exists in the extended outlook due to the fact that there is no strong disturbance to force the lift needed for more rain or thunder. Though a close eye will be kept in the western Atlantic as models pick up on some sort of disturbance forming just east of the Peninsula by mid-week...
