Storm Team Saturday evening forecast (02/07/2015)

MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- A warm day was experienced for Saturday. Expect Sunday to be even warmer with the continued influence of warm winds from the Gulf of Mexico due to high pressure over the western Atlantic steering the winds from the south. As the dome of high pressure pushes away from the region, a cold front out in the northwest will dig down and increase rain coverage for Monday, though coverage looks relatively low (30-40%) for the day. Sunday's highs will be in the lower 70s with lows near 40 degrees. The front wont bring in a much colder air mass. Temperatures will drop but not by much with highs in the mid to upper 60s. Late week, another front threatens and it looks that the air mass after that will bring an extended period of cold air from the north.
