TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- A high pressure is currently sitting in the Gulf of Mexico has been helping to keep our skies a little clearer and drier than earlier this week, allowing us to really warm up for Saturday. Over the next few days, this high pressure is expected to remain in place with a similar weather pattern for the rest of the weekend.
Tonight, we'll have a few clouds lingering around with overnight lows falling to the lower 70s. There will be a little bit of a light wind from the west to southwest throughout the evening.
Sunday will be another seasonal feeling day with highs topping off near 93 degrees. Partly cloudy skies will be sticking around through the day with a 40 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms in the afternoon to evening hours. Sunday night will be another mild evening with lows in the lower to mid 70s under party cloudy skies.
