MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- The rain and gloom across our area for Saturday will continue into the evening and night-time hours so keeping an umbrella and/or poncho handy isn't a bad idea. For our Sunday, however, it might be best to stay indoors altogether. A warm air mass in the Gulf of Mexico as well as humid air being pulled into our region will help to keep the rain chances near certain for northern Florida and southern Georgia. A disturbance of low pressure continues to organize out west and will continue to push into the Mississippi River Valley. That will help stir up the instability for some possible severe weather for our Sunday. The main risk factors include a low risk for tornadoes and a moderate risk for winds in excess of 60+ mph. Lows will be in the lower 60s with highs around 70 degrees with mostly cloudy conditions. For Monday, the rain coverage is at 60% with temps a bit warmer than Sunday. The storminess will continue into Tuesday, albeit weaker. After Wednesday, a cold front pushes through and that will drop our lows to back near freezing on Thursday and highs only around 60 degrees.
